Join us for your next diving adventure to marvellous Marsa Alam, Egypt.
If you are looking for some much needed sunshine in November, chrystal blue waters, stunning reefs and marine life like turtles, dolphins, and rays, then book your trip with Dive Wimbledon today and discover what the legendary Red Sea has to offer.
Marsa Alam has a very wide range of different in-water experiences to be had, from diving or snorkelling on a shallow wreck near shore, snorkelling with dolphins, diving with turtles or even an occasional dugong, to exploring the incredible offshore hard-coral fields and dramatic walls.
Catering to all dive holidays and tastes, this resort hosts a range of restaurants, private beach and décor with an oriental flair. Situated in the heart of Port Ghalib and close to the Marina and Emperor Divers’ centre, this is a great choice for both diving and relaxation.
Hotel Services/Facilities: The Resort hosts the only beach at Port Ghalib, which is 150 metres long and offering plenty of sun loungers. The private, sandy, fully equipped beach is located only 300 metres away from the hotel and provides a bar, serving snacks and drinks during the day.
Emperor Divers dive centre is conveniently located nearby and active guests will appreciate the wide choice of sports and leisure activities, including a bowling centre, as well as a spa and gym. Facilities available at Port Ghalib include a range of restaurants, bars, cafeterias and a few small shops. Free Wi-Fi is offered throughout the Resort.
Restaurants: Experience the many flavours of La Brasserie main restaurant, a buffet style restaurant serving international cuisine. Mediterranean meals are served a la carte in Olive restaurant. There is also a choice of bars and a cocktail lounge.
The Diving
Emperor Divers is a well regarded dive operator established in 1992 and with a reputation for combining a highly professional, safe and organised service with a warm welcome, friendliness and a sense of fun. We also work with a number of other well respected dive centres throughout the region.
Après Dive
Unlike the larger resorts of Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh, Marsa Alam is tiny so the town’s après dive is almost non-existent, but most resorts have their own dining, shopping and entertainment options. If you fancy a night out, you’ll find some decent bars and restaurants on the waterfront in a pleasant setting at Port Ghalib, which is the departure and return point for the dive boats.
