Exploration, Excitement, Experiences. This is what the PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. You don't have to be an experienced diver to complete this course because it is designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Junior Open Water Diver course.

The PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course is for qualified divers who want to take the next step in diving. The PADI Junior Advanced course will enable you to dive deeper and gain confidence through learning new skills in a safe training environment. The course can be completed in the UK or on any of our overseas holidays.

The PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course is an exciting course with the emphasis on diving rather than classroom study.

The PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver Course with DIVE WIMBLEDON

Course Overview

  •     PADI offers a variety of home-study materials for the PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course - Elearning or PADI Advanced Open Water Manual and dive slate package. With the Elearning option you will complete more of the home study before your course and will spend less time in the classroom.
  •     Five dives of which two are compulsory : Deep and Navigation
  •     The remaining three dives can be selected from:
  •     Peak Performance Buoyancy (Highly recommended)
  •     Wreck
  •     Multi Level and Computer
  •     Drysuit (£30 supplement)
  •     Enriched Air/ Nitrox (£15 supplement)
  •     Search and Recovery
  •     Digital Underwater Photography

Additional Options Available:

  •     The PADI Drysuit Diver Specialty course add on for £110 (Normally £180) including the Drysuit Specialty manual or Elearning, an additonal pool session, drysuit hire, one extra dive and certification.
  •     The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course add on for £99 (Normally £130) which includes the Peak Perfromance Buoyancy manual and certification.


Requirements

  •     Complete the Elearning or read the 5 chapters from the PADI Adventure Diver manual relating to the 5 dives to be completed as part of the PADI Junior Advanced Diver course


Prerequisites

To take this course, you must be:

  •     A PADI Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organisation)
  •     12 years old
  •     Have completed the standard PADI Medical Form


Duration

  •     2 days (Normally one weekend) and the Saturday takes place at Wraysbury Lake and the Sunday at Vobster Quay

Locations

  •     St Andrews Lake, Vobster Quay, Portland, Chepstow, Stoney Cove, Swanage, Wraysbury or on one of Dive Wimbledon's overseas holidays.
  • Completion
  •     The PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification allows you to dive to 21 metres so long as you dive with an Instructor, Dive Master or certified family member. Once you turn 15 you are automatically allowed to dive to 30 metres and the certification is valid for life though we recommend joining us for regular discounted pool practise sessions
