Exploration, Excitement, Experiences. This is what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. You don't have to be an experienced diver to complete this course because it is designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is for qualified divers who want to take the next step in diving. The PADI Advanced course will enable you to dive deeper and gain confidence through learning new skills in a safe training environment. The course can be completed in London or on any of our overseas holidays.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is an exciting course with the emphasis on diving rather than classroom study. Alternatively you can complete the course for free if you sign up for five PADI Speciality courses and all the information can be found here

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course with DIVE WIMBLEDON

Course Overview

  •     Dive Wimbledon offers a variety of home-study materials for the Advanced Open Water Diver course - Elearning or PADI Advanced Open Water Manual and dive slate package. With the Elearning option you will complete more of the home study at home and will spend less time in the classroom.
  •     Five dives of which two are compulsory : Deep and Navigation
  •     The remaining three dives can be selected from:
  •     Peak Performance Buoyancy (Highly recommended)
  •     Wreck
  •     SMB
  •     Drysuit (£30 supplement unless completing the Speciality course add on from below)
  •     Enriched Air/ Nitrox (£20 supplement)
  •     Search and Recovery
  •     Digital Underwater Photography

Additional Options Available when booking online:

  •     The PADI Drysuit Diver Specialty course can be added for £130 (Normally £180) including the Drysuit Specialty Elearning, an additonal pool or confined water session , drysuit and all required equipment hire, one extra dive and certification
  •     The PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Specialty course can be added for £99 (Normally £130) which includes the Enriched Air Diver manual or Elearning and certification
  •     The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course can be added for £120 (Normally £180) which includes the Peak Performance Buoyancy Elearning and certification


Requirements

  •     Complete the Elearning or read the 5 chapters from the PADI Adventure Diver manual relating to the 5 dives to be completed as part of the PADI Advanced course


Prerequisites

  •     PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent certification from another training organization)
  •     Minimum 12 years old
  •     Have completed the standard PADI Medical Form


Duration

  •     2 days (Normally one weekend)


Cost


Locations

  •     Wraysbury in London and Vobster Quay or on one of Dive Wimbledon's overseas holidays to Egypt (Click here for more information). We carpool to the dive sites outside London so lifts are available.

Completion

  •     The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification allows you to dive to 30 metres and is valid for life though we recommend joining us for regular discounted pool practise sessions.
