As a PADI Assistant Instructor you will not only gain additional experience as a PADI Professional scuba diver but will you also start learning the PADI System of diver education. You will be qualified to act as an instructional scuba assistant and assume some teaching responsibilities. It is a great way to gain experience on the path to becoming a PADI Instructor
The PADI Assistant Instructor course is the first part of the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC). When followed by the PADI Instructor course (OWSI) and successful performance at the Instructor Examination (IE) this leads to certification as a DIVE WIMBLEDON PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
Can be combined with the OWSI for the full IDC and EFRI course as part of the booking process
Be a PADI Divemaster or qualifying certification from another certification organisation
Be at least 18 years old
Have 60 logged dives, including experience of night, deep, and navigation dives
Have been a certified diver for at least 6 months
Have CPR and First Aid Training within the last 24 months
Be fit for diving and submit an HSE diving medical form signed by an HSE dive doctor within the last 12 months
Use of all the diving equipment
