As a diver we can keep track of our dives using the PADI, BSAC, SSI etc tables, a depth gauge and dive watch but most scuba divers use a dive computer because it’s easier. A dive computer provides accurate information throughout your dive to keep you safe.
A dive computer records the depth and time and uses it to calculate a decompression model and track the dissolved nitrogen in your body during a dive. Your computer continuously tells you how much dive time you safely have remaining and combines a depth gauge, timer and sometimes a submersible pressure gauge (SPG) into a single, useful instrument. The majority of divers have a computer because it makes sense.
At Dive Wimbledon we sell Suunto, Scubapro and Uwatec dive computers and can easily obtain the computer to suit your diving at a great price.
