I hope you have all been having the chance to go diving lately as the weather finally starts to warm up. The club had a great trip to Swanage last weekend and the school has been very busy with a wide variety of courses taking place.
Our next Club night will be at the Colliers Tup (SW19 2BH) opposite the Colliers Wood tube from 7.30pmish on Tuesday 2nd August. Everybody is welcome. If you haven't been to the pub before and don't recognise us give Roger a call on 07918696983 and I can make myself obvious.
UK Orientation sessions: Dawn will be running the next introduction to UK diving at Putney Leisure Centre from 8-10pm on the 10th August and there are still a couple of spaces. These sessions will cover some of the essentials for UK diving including DSMB(Delayed Surface Marker Buoys), strobes, whistles, knives, line cutters and a buoyancy session. The cost is just £35 and includes any equipment you need.
UK Orientation Dives: We have organised a couple of great trips to Swanage for those who have never dived in the UK or have only experienced the 'joys' of Wraysbury and would like to see a lot more when they go diving :-).
Dates : 27 August and 10th Sept.
Minimum certification level: PADI Open Water or equivalent
Cost: Club members £60. Non members £75 including all equipment.
This months Special: We have one new Suunto D9 for £599. The recommened retail price for this is £945 so this is a bargain.
Plymouth: 13-14 August. There are still four places available on this great trip but get in touch quickly as they will go quickly or click here for more information from our website.
